References of world rock, the Fischer-Z and Gun will perform on the next October 25th at Casino Estoril.
The two famous British bands return to the Black and Silver Room with new albums in tow and an infallible setlist that gathers decades of repertoire. This is a program not to be missed, starting at 10 PM, featuring two iconic bands that occupy a unique space in the international music scene.

Fischer-Z
Fischer-Z is the project that John Watts created while studying psychology and after several internships in psychiatric clinics, experiences that immediately differentiated the themes of his songs.
And, surprising the industry, several became resounding hits worldwide: “Marliese,” “So Long,” or “The Worker” are still today social portraits of the 80s, true sonic photographs of realities that endure. All of them were in the charts and were MTV cards, forever marking an era when “new wave” was being discovered.

Over 40 years, John Watts continued to release music both solo and with Fischer-Z, with whom he released the album “Triptyc” in April of this year. And, similar to Taylor Swift or Bryan Adams, he re-recorded some of his hits to benefit more from the rights generated by his work.

Gun
The Scots Gun also re-recorded hits like “Better Days,” “Don’t Say It’s Over,” or “Word Up,” the first rock approach to the original by the funk trio Cameo. Later, Korn would do the same, but Gun acknowledges that despite always having success with their originals, it was this single that established them as one of the most powerful stage attractions in the UK and took them on tours with the Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi, and Def Leppard. Yet, it is the new album “Hombres” that is surprising the media, with Louder giving it 4 out of 5, Distorted Sound Mag and All About Rock giving it 9 out of 10, and several titles naming it a finalist for the best of the year.

This is not the first time Gun has shown they have 7 lives, and the rock power of their concerts is constantly renewed by new songs, new arrangements of classics, and the friendly energy that the Gizzi brothers’ band shares on stage.

Fischer-Z and Gun will perform on October 25th, at 10 PM, in the Black and Silver Room of Casino Estoril. M/12. Price: €40 to €80.
