Fado night with Gustavo and Mel at Casino Estoril

On a fado night, Gustavo and Mel will perform at Lounge D at Casino Estoril, next Wednesday, November 22nd, at 10 pm.
Two young, confident fado figures are accompanied by instrumentalists Diogo Lucena Quadros, Manuel Vaz da Silva and Luis Roquette. Entry is free.
The fado cycle continues with two talents from the so-called national song who promise another intimate show at Casino Estoril. There are two interpretive styles, not to be missed, at Lounge D.
Gustavo
Born in Lisbon in 1990, Gustavo revealed himself as a fado singer, following in the footsteps of his father, António Pinto Basto, performing for the first time in public at 15 in a fado house in Lisbon. Since then, he has participated in countless shows with great fado voices such as for example, Rodrigo, Vicente da Câmara, José da Câmara, Maria João Quadros, Teresa Tapadas and, of course, his own father. His passion and devotion is to fado, where he is expected to reveal himself as another great voice in national music.
Mel
Passionate about the power of music and what it conveys, Mel joined Fado at the age of 20. She participated in The Voice Portugal in 2015 and won 1st place in the Grande Noite do Fado de Santa Maria Maior, at Coliseu dos Recreios. In general, her “core” is here. Her love for Fado, for art and, above all, her great desire to make a difference in this area.
