On October 9th, at 9 pm, the Cultural Center of Poceirão will host a Night of Fado, as part of the “October – Month of Music” program.
The stage hosts the performances of Horácio Pereira, Francisco Andrade, Francisco Figueiras, Lúcia Mateus and Maria do Céu Freitas, accompanied by Luís Brazão on the viola and on the guitar by Jorge Costa.
The event is organized by the Associação Os Amigos de Lagameças, with the support of the Municipality of Palmela and the União das Freguesias de Poceirão and Marateca. Admission is €5 and seats are limited.
To commemorate World Music Day (October 1st), the Municipality and the local Associative Movement promote the “October – Month of Music” initiative, with various shows throughout the month, throughout the municipality. See the full program here.
