In a night dedicated to pop music, Jota performs, next Friday, December 17th, at 22:30, in Lounge D at Casino Estoril. Jota takes the stage to present three original songs and some covers. The young performer shares the stage with Hugo Casaca and Francisco Martins. Admission is free.
Jota (João Pedro Palma), 25 years old, has studied music since he was very young. He started to learn to play the piano as early as 5 years old. A passion that led him to take the 5th degree in piano at the Instituto Gregoriano de Lisboa.
At the age of 18, he graduated in Lyric singing (Opera) at the Escola Superior de Música of Lisbon. After finishing his degree he enrolled at The Voice Portugal 2018 where he was a semi-finalist. It was a unique experience that allowed him to win many friendships in the music world.
Later, to complete his studies, Jota entered the Royal Academy of Music, in London, where he earned his Master’s degree with merit in Musical Theatre.
