The Lisbon Poetry Orchestra (LPO) was at the Maria Matos Theatre to celebrate poetry on a theatrical night in which poetry was queen of the night.
The LPO is a multidisciplinary collective of artists who invite other artists to celebrate and interpret poetry in a truly unique journey to the discovery and reinvention of the said word.
After the debut album Poetas Portugueses de Agora, LPO presents Os Surrealistas, its latest album dedicated to a group of poets who, in a grey Portugal, realized the urgency of freedom.
The concert of the Maria Matos Theater ends the tour Os Surrealistas, which has been on the road for two years and counted as guests in the Lisbon room, Xana from Rádio Macau and Sir Scratch, in a careful performance with very good illustrations/ projections, that had however a light that was not worthy of the show, so we chose to present the black and white photos.
