Nomadland was the big winnerof the Oscars 2021

Before Nomadland, the only film directed by a woman and an Oscar winner for Best Picture was ‘The Hurt Locker‘ (2008), by Kathryn Bigelow, who was the only director to take an Oscar until the history night of the 2021 edition.
