The English band returns to national territory in the same year that it celebrates two decades after its first album, which will be reissued in 2024, and passes through the North Festival, in Serralves Park.
The next edition of the North Festival, one of the most anticipated events of the year, has a return date scheduled for the 24th, 25th and 26th of May 2024, and is marked by a major novelty: a new location, Parque de Serralves.
Due to the quality of the infrastructure, large spaces and excellent location, Parque de Serralves, a premium space, in the heart of Invicta, is a natural choice for a festival that is also premium, allowing the quality of the experience offered to the public to be raised.
This investment in the potential of Serralves Park seeks to give a renewed dynamic to the event, which, year after year, records sustained growth, and which, in its latest edition, with a diverse program, which includes internationally and nationally renowned artists, over the three days, it received more than 50 thousand people.
Keane: 20 years since his first album and his time at North Festival
In addition to the new “address”, the North Festival has also confirmed the first headliner for the 2024 edition, Keane, who will take the stage on the night of May 25th.
Formed in 1995, in East Sussex, England, the English band achieved worldwide success with their first album – Hopes and Fears -, released in 2004. Since then, and over the last two decades, hits such as “Somewhere Only We Know ”, “Everybody’s Changing”, “This Is The Last Time” or “Bend and Break, all over the world, captivated millions of people.
In 2024, accompanied by the celebration of the two decades of their debut album – Hopes and Fears -, which will have a special reissue, Keane returns to national territory, being present at the North Festival.
