North Music Festival now JN North Festival

Returns on 26, 27 and 28 May to Alfândega do Porto

The Jesus and Mary Chain, Tricky and The Waterboys join the already confirmed Ornatos Violeta

14 bands were presented in the newsroom of Jornal de Notícias, naming partner of this edition and now join the lineup that already had Ornatos Violeta, Linda Martini, Zen, Paus, Paraguaii and Pedro da Linha.

The first day is entirely dedicated to Portuguese music with the bands that move from the postponed edition that have the headliners Ornatos Violeta, who celebrate 30 years of career on the stage at Alfândega do Porto, Linda Martini, Zen, Paus, Paraguaii, Pedro da Linha and which now joins RIOT.

On May 27, the organization is betting on a day dedicated to sounds ranging from Hip Hop to Indie Rock with the already announced Tricky, Capicua, Domingues, T-Rex, Cassete Pirata, Throes + The Shine and even more names to be announced soon.

The Jesus and Mary Chain and The Waterboys headline the last day of the JN North Festival, which also features the emblematic Porto band GNR, which celebrates its 40th anniversary at home, David Fonseca, Keep Razors Sharp, Moullinex & Xinobi and DJ Vibe.

Jorge Veloso, director of the Festival, highlighted “Porto’s return to the international concert circuit, in an emblematic place in the city with four stages: the main, the sunset stage, clubbing and concerts on the boats” and also reinforces that “the poster is not yet closed and we are working to present soon another headliner and for the 27th as well as other news for the various stages in the venue”.

Tickets are already available at the usual places and the pre-sale of the general pass is 90 euros and daily tickets at 50 euros.
