“NOS Canta a Outro e Não ao Mesmo” (“NOS Sings to Another and Not to the Same”) is the new project by NOS, which brings together Portuguese-speaking musicians from the most diverse generations and styles, to reinterpret each other’s songs, face to face, in an intimate and special environment.
The program is the first transmedia music content format in Portugal – on social media and television – and aims to support and celebrate the diversity of Portuguese music and reinforce the brand’s connection with the music territory.
In this series, artists from different musical universes come together to explore new sound dialogues and surprise the public with new and unexpected interpretations. The first season will feature guest artists Ana Lua Caiano, David Bruno, Lena D’Água, Milhanas, Romeu Bairos, and Samuel Úria. The artistic curatorship is signed by Henrique Amaro, one of the most respected promoters of Portuguese music, and Fred Pinto Ferreira, producer and drummer of Orelha Negra.
The project has two seasons, totaling 12 episodes, released every two weeks, on Thursdays, at 9 pm. Dino d’Santiago is one of the names already confirmed for the second season. To create greater audience engagement, each episode will feature a set of content that is not normally available to viewers – from the invitation to the artists to the creative process. Here, people can follow the entire process through social media and, in detail, on the NOS Broadcast Channel on Instagram.
The first episode of the first season premieres today, April 10, with a special meeting between Lena D’Água and Milhanas.
To mark the launch of the project and celebrate Portuguese music, NOS also prepared a Listening Party, where the first episode was shown for the first time. This episode can be seen here.
The episodes will be available at nos.pt/musica and on NOS’ YouTube, but the big news is the new NOS Broadcast Channel on Instagram. A channel designed to create the largest community of music fans, strengthening ties with fans of different musical styles, testing new digital content formats and providing exclusive content. Additionally, this channel will offer weekly ticket offers for NOS Alive 2025, making it an essential space for music lovers.
The channel’s content will be curated by content creator Maria Morango, ensuring an engaging and authentic experience, with backstage access to recordings, interviews with artists and never-before-seen moments of the creative process.
“With this initiative, NOS reinforces and strengthens its presence in the territory of music, a natural territory for NOS, full of positive connections. NOS is in music so that everyone can experience unique moments, connected and with an amplification of all emotions. This project relies heavily on dissemination via social media and television because we want to be where people are and bring the emotion of music to as many people as possible, adding value to this experience”, highlighted Antonio Fuzeta da Ponte, Brand and Communication Director at NOS.
