Novo Amor returns to Portugal in April 2022

After having sold out LAV – Lisboa ao Vivo, in May 2019, Novo Amor prepares the great return to Portugal with two unmissable concerts for 2022.

Ali Lacey, the artist who gives voice to Novo Amor, takes the stage of the Aula Magna in Lisbon, on April 21st and the next day, April 22nd, at Hard Club do Porto.

The producer, multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter from Cardiff, returns to the stage on a tour that brings him to Portugal and takes him to the big European and UK cities, with a new album in his luggage.

‘Cannot Be, Whatsoever’ is the second studio album produced by Ali Lacey as Novo Amor. Its creation started when Lacey returned to Wales and was finally able to settle down after 18 months on the road to the world presentation of the debut album, ‘Birthplace’. Although the pleasure of launching this universally loved work and the incredible experiences of being on the road contributed significantly to the second work, there is also a feeling of heaviness and an almost unconscious solemnity that arises from the silence and the calm of being at home. At the end of the day, ‘Cannot Be, Whatsoever’ is a moving, thoughtful yet optimistic record about how to move forward with what is lost and celebrate everything you have.

On his very early return to the stage, Novo Amor is very eager to meet the Portuguese public on April 21, 2022 at Aula Magna, Lisbon and April 22, 2022 at Hard Club, Porto.
