“O Lobo Solitário”, by Filipe Melo, premiered at the Curtas Vila do Conde festival
“O Lobo Solitário”, the new short film by Filipe Melo, has its premiere scheduled for the next edition of the Festival Curtas de Vila do Conde, where it is part of the National Competition program.
The film will be screened on the 18th of July, at 20:30. On the 19th, at 3 pm, the director will be at the Curtas Lounge, at Vila do Conde Municipal Theater, for a conversation about the short film. On the same day, at 9 pm, the film is shown at Cinema Trindade, in Porto. In Lisbon, the Ideal Cinema hosts a screening of “O Lobo Solitário” on the 20th of July at 9 pm.
Starring Adriano Luz, “O Lobo Solitário” also has the participation of António Fonseca, Maria João Pinho, Custódia Gallego and Ana Cloe, among others.
Shot at the end of last January, in the outskirts of Lisbon, the film has been scripted and directed by Filipe Melo, art direction by Juan Cavia, photography direction by Vasco Viana, editing by Gabriela Soares and sound by Bruno Garcez and Dillon Bennett. The original music was also in charge of Filipe Melo in partnership with The Legendary Tigerman. Film produced by the Força de Produção and supported by the ICA – Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual.
