New Murakami book arrives in Portugal in September
The collection of short stories First Person Singular: Stories was originally published in Japan on July 18 of last year, three years after the author’s last publication, the novel “Killing Commendatore”, 2017, and six years after the launch of his latest anthology of short stories, “Men without women“, in 2014.
The eight stories in this new book are all told in the first person by a classic Murakami narrator. The stories contained in this anthology are philosophical and mysterious, but they touch beautifully on love and loneliness, childhood, and memory.
