New batch of tickets for Manu Chao shows in Lisbon

Manu Chao sold out both shows scheduled for Lisbon in less than a week. But this Wednesday the artist is offering fans another batch of tickets.

At 2 pm, a few more tickets will be available for each date: January 30th and February 1st, respectively, at LAV – Lisboa ao Vivo.

Producer Soundsgood says that “this represents the last opportunity for fans who wish to attend the ‘Ultra Acústico’ concert, which brings to Lisbon some songs from the new album ‘Viva tu’, but also some ironic tracks by the artist”.

Born in Paris to Spanish immigrant parents, Manu Chao began playing on the streets of the French capital and has had a diverse musical career in sounds and projects. It crossed continents, from Europe to Africa, passing through Latin America. After being part of several bands, he released the solo album Clandestino in 1998, which exceeded all expectations, positioning Manu as a world-renowned artist. A mixed-race sounding record, where everything that had been learned up until then crystallized and laid the foundations for what he would continue to develop: a multicultural and multilingual package, which delivers committed and simultaneous doses of sadness and joy, anger and hope. Then came Próxima Estação: Esperanza, in 2001, which produced famous singles such as “Me gustas tú”.

Shows at LAV: gates open at 8 pm, and start at 9 pm.

Always confirm with the concert hall or promoter the conditions of access, confirmation of the date or time, ticket place of sale, price, and availability.
