Elvira’s music comes from a very happy and warm place. Pop that speaks to us in the ear about feelings and everyday situations, with which we all see ourselves and find ourselves.
“Foi Sem Querer” is Elvira’s latest single. A song that may well be the love story of any of us. When a happy end is rather a new opportunity to find the way again, without the illusion that love does not only end in fiction and without losing focus on what is most important: staying true to ourselves. It is an ode to hope and perseverance, and also to self-assertion.
“Foi Sem Querer” is Elvira’s second release, since it took on this new identity, after having made itself known to the public as Via and in the Paião project. In 2020 she performed with a version for “Sonho Azul”, bringing the original of 1982 to the pop of the new millennium.
The single is a first sample of the album that is being prepared and that has the production of Bruno Vasconcelos. The disc is being recorded at Valentine de Carvalho Studios in Paço de Arcos.
