New single by Pedro e os Lobos now available on all platforms

There are bands that, even in times of adversity, continue to do everything in their power to give us music. O Desertor  is the most recent single by Pedro ea Os Lobos.

But what does Peter and the Wolves mean to us with this new single? The quick answer of Pedro Galhoz, mentor of the project is “The Desertor is above all a challenge to leap into change and to break with the routines of the past by building something new and better. A dive into the unknown is sometimes the best way to get to know each other and to reinvent ourselves. The phrase If God doesn’t want, someone will want is a way of saying that we are not alone, we can always belong to something or someone, all we need to do is be willing to open our hearts and move forward.”

We’ve all realized that the musical universe of Pedro e os Lobos has a lot of North American music. Pedro Galhoz clarifies that “I’m really influenced by American music, from indie folk to the more psychedelic folk rock and this theme is proof of that. I still see every song I make as part of a soundtrack that always belongs to someone’s life, it can be part of mine or yours”.

O Desertor is the advance of a new EP called Between Seasons (which succeeds the 2020 After the Storm album) to be released in the coming weeks. We asked Pedro Galhoz what we can expect from this new EP Entre Estações e, the answer was “it’s a record recorded and produced by me (Pedro Galhoz) and drummer Rui Freire (Tutxi). our home studios, all the instruments were played by both of us, the voice is Nelson Correia and as the name implies, it is a work that is between two stops, it is something that symbolizes that we are on our way, that we are in a movement that will take us certainly to the next stop”.
