It was an old wish of the HMB to have a song recorded with Rui Veloso.
The opportunity arose at the beginning of 2021, in a studio session in Vale de lobos, where they took refuge to create new songs ready to be born in times of vaccination and where they challenged Rui Veloso to join.
The band never hid that Rui Veloso was one of their greatest influences and in the past they had already made a version of “Jura” and sang in a duet “Todo o tempo do mundo”.
“Lembra-te de mim” is a song about friendship in times that ask for resilience and hope:
“In a time full of distances, remembering who remembers us can be the first and the last immunity. The immunity of friendship.”
