New Story Trailer of ‘Returnal’ now available
Sony Playstation recently unveiled a new trailer for Returnal, its next exclusive that is under development by the Housemarque studios.
It is a video that shows some images about Selene’s story, as well as the mysterious and hostile environment in which she will encounter this alien planet: Atropos. It is also revealed a little more of the terrible loop that Atropos presents and that makes that with each death of the protagonist, a new cycle is restarted.
Selene is a Greek-American explorer from ASTRA who, for the first time in her career, disobeys her superiors and travels the alien planet Atropos. It follows a strange transmission signal from the “White Shadow”.
Upon reaching the planet, Selene is faced with an alien forest, where she discovers the ruins of a civilization full of statues, doors, xeno-tech and alien corpses.
Returnal is a game in which the world is constantly changing and players will have to adapt to it. Each death brings about a change in everything that happened and it is unlikely that the events will be repeated in the next respawn.
Returnal, a roguelike third-person action game under development by Housemarque, will arrive exclusively on PlayStation 5 next April 30th.
