Heats up the Capital on New Year’s Eve with fire on the table and the perfect temperature for 2026
Lisbon is preparing to welcome 2026 with high temperatures, where coats and hats can stay at the door: 550º, the Restaurant & Bar that combines fire with the hospitality of the Real Hotels Group (RHG), presents a New Year’s Eve night that brings together a vibrant atmosphere, a menu designed with embers, and a celebration that promises to mark the beginning of the new year.
Recently opened in the same building as the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lisbon – Príncipe Real, 550º has quickly become a meeting point for those seeking conviviality in the late afternoon, followed by gastronomy centred on wood, charcoal, and the Maillard process, with the signature of executive chef David Casaca. The concept thrives on sharing, generous cuts of meat, oven-baked rice dishes, and reinvented classics, in a welcoming space that brings together couples, groups of friends, families, and visitors.

Having been chosen as a venue for Christmas dinners and group gatherings – with very limited dates still available – for the evening of December 31st, the 550º Restaurant & Bar has prepared a special menu celebrating the intense flavours of fire-cooked cuisine. Highlights include Mussels cooked over an open fire à Bulhão Pato, Tiger Prawn Rice baked in the oven, Entrecôte with Truffled Mashed Potatoes, and a Burnt Lemon Meringue dessert – a lineup that reflects the irreverent and welcoming spirit of the restaurant, which is now one of the capital’s leading gastronomic and social hubs.
The program also includes another 550º signature dish: the renowned Patapesto Cocktail, which welcomes guests with citrus and herbal notes of basil and, as is customary, a toast with sparkling wine at midnight, accompanied by raisins to welcome the new year. The entertainment will ignite the energy of the 550º venue: DJ João Campinas will provide the rhythm between 9 PM and 12:30 AM, guaranteeing the perfect beat to enter 2026 with energy.

Located on Travessa da Fábrica dos Pentes, 550º also boasts a unique location for the last night of the year, as it’s just steps from the city’s nightlife centre, perfect for the fun that follows a great dinner and socialising that starts right, amidst embers that don’t burn, but warm the soul and the palate.
The price per person is €70, with the option of Wine Pairing for an additional €15. For children aged 6 to 12, the menu costs €35, and is free for children under 5, featuring the youngest guests’ favourite dishes: 550º’s hamburger or pizza.
