The O Sol da Caparica Festival < Schedules and Transport
The O Sol da Caparica Festival starts on the 15th, lasting through the nights of the 16th, 17th and 18th of August. Show times for this summer’s biggest Portuguese-speaking line-up are now available.
There are several ways to get to the Festival, namely Carris Metropolitana, with reinforced routes, Fertagus, Metro Transportes do Sul, Transtejo and taxis/TVDE. All careers and additional information can be found here.
There are also parking lots, for those who choose to go by car, with the number of spaces estimated at 1200, 900 of which are free.
Park next to the IC20 roundabout (free)
• Public park, can be used by any light vehicle.
• You will have support/surveillance from August 15th to 18th, between 3pm and 11pm.
INATEL Parks 1 and 2 (free)
• They are intended for visitors with a ticket to the Sol da Caparica Festival.
• They are open between 3 pm and 1 am on the 15th and 18th of August and between 3 pm and 1:30 am on the 16th and 17th of August.
Park P1 WEMOB next to the wall
• Public park, can be used by any light vehicle (according to current tariff).
• Open 24 hours a day.
Area reserved for people with reduced mobility in park P2 – WEMOB (10 free spaces)
• Can be used by people with proven reduced mobility and with a ticket to the Festival.
The new organization of the O Sol da Caparica Festival, formed by the consortium formed by the companies Domingo no Mundo and Music Mov, headed by André Sardet and António Gomes, together with the Almada City Council, is committed to innovation, sustainability and excellence, focusing on four central axes: Culture, Environment, Social Inclusion and Circular Economy.
Tickets are on sale at MEO Blueticket and the usual places. Residents of the Almada municipality can purchase them at a special price, with proof of residence in the municipality, at the Romeu Correia Forum and Costa da Caparica Tourism Office (limited to existing stock).
