“Conversas de Esquina” is the name of Ricardo Gordo’s new album and also one of the themes included in it, which mirrors the dialogue between the musician, composer and the Portuguese guitar, and which defines its alternative sound.
Throughout these conversations, it is possible to hear reports by Ricardo Gordo in a search for the meaning of his music.
With the usual accompaniment of Samuel Lupi (who also suggested the name of the album) and a mix of Madrak, these “Conversas de Esquina” result in current music where the mix between Portuguese guitar and electronic music happens in a natural way.
No less important are the album’s guests: Stereossauro, Valéria and Razat. The latter, although posthumously, appears here in an unprecedented theme.
