LAV – Lisboa ao Vivo hosted Nick Mulvey this Thursday, October 23rd, in a show as part of his Dark Harvest World Tour.
On stage, the British artist performed his latest album, Dark Harvest (Pt. 1) – a work with a sound imbued with personal meaning, where the musician exposes the inner fragility and transformations he has undergone in recent years.
To a packed venue, Mulvey performed in a minimalist setting, where his voice and acoustic guitar set the tone for what would become an unforgettable show for the audience.
“River to the Real,” the song that has gained the most notoriety from this new album, opened the show, immediately creating a moment of pure communion between the artist and the audience.
Throughout the evening, the artist covered the entire track list from the Dark Harvest (Pt. 1) album. However, the songs that generated the most excitement and anticipation in the room were “Radical Tenderness” and “Solastalgia.” These songs are pure sensitivity and symbolism, reflecting the identity of this project and conveying poetically to the audience.
In the end, those who paid for tickets certainly didn’t regret it. It was a night of reflection and love, amidst the melodies of Nick Mulvey, which ended with a resounding applause from the audience.
