Two giant hard rock bands played in Algés, Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe at the venue where NOS Alive will take place, in early July, for one of the biggest concerts of the year, by the two legendary bands.
See the report by Mötley Crüe here.
If for Def Leppard it was a return, Mötley Crüe was a debut in Portugal, with many fans wanting to relive with the two bands the themes that made them legends, which featured The Quartet of Woah!, little known to the general public, who don’t go to the more underground shows, and who warmed up for Def Lepard.
Joe Elliott’s band, took the stage and was received by a huge ovation, for what would be a late afternoon party and it was with a song from the new Diamond Star Halos, “Take What You Want”, and soon it was realized that they were the real headliners, with many fans proudly displaying the band’s T-Shirts, which would also be confirmed at the end of the performance, with many leaving the venue with the entrance of Mötley Crüe, and that was, one of the best concerts of the year.
And it was with the audience already vibrating, that they got everyone dancing, jumping, and singing to the sound of the classic “Let’s Get Rocked” from 92, from the Adrenalize album, and from that point on it was a parade of hits, such as the fantastic “Animal” from the Hysteria album, which was naturally dominant in the lineup, this fantastic concert, with the signature Everything is New, in which they gave everything on stage, for an audience that “lived” each song from beginning to end.
