The MIL is back

music festival and convention from September 25 to 27

The MIL kicks off today in Lisbon with the Convention program at the Beato Innovation District, while the showcase concerts take place starting tomorrow at different stages in the nightlife area of Cais do Sodré.

Over the next three days, the Beato Innovation District and Cais do Sodré will be meeting points for music and cultural sector professionals, emerging artists, researchers, journalists, students, and the general public. A true celebration of emerging music and the theme “discover while it’s a secret.”

The MIL Convention, which starts today, has the main objective of developing professional networks and encouraging the exchange of ideas, constructive debate, and critical reflection on the present and future of the cultural sector and the music industry. In this 8th edition, the Convention program highlights a special focus on the intersection of Culture, Power, and Participation, offering a broad space to analyze how diversity, inclusion, and representativity are being effectively integrated into cultural practices and policies. All programming and schedules are available in the MIL app or on the website here.

In music programming, the schedules and performance venues are already known and can be noted so that none of tomorrow’s bets are missed.
