“O Primeiro Dia” em destaque no Casino Lisboa
On the 3rd of February, at 9 pm, the Oceans Auditorium at Casino Lisboa will host “The First Day”. An unmissable show that proposes a unique journey through art, where dance, circus, and theater merge.
“O Primeiro Dia” honors the arts of circus, music, and Portuguese authors, highlighting all the resilience, union, essence, and uniqueness of the artists. It is the story of art that collapsed and the resilience of the artists who rebuild it, like a love that is never forgotten.
“Back here… Being here… Feeling the ground transformed into the air… Flying… giving space to the essence. Sculpting, shaping the brute, and making it beautiful, purer… action, the void is open, fertile space. The body moves, particle by particle. It expands, grows, and is present. Being from here… starting here…”
During the confinement period, Laboratório created and developed the show “O Primeiro Dia”, which was recorded for online transmission through a platform created by Ticketline, which aimed to offer the spectator a unique journey through art.
The Laboratory represents a collective of professionals with more than 10 years of experience who dedicate their activity to exploring the technique of aerial acrobatics, favoring an eminently contemporary, urban, and disruptive approach and representation.
