The second day of the Festival, with several points of interest, cannot be missed.
The second and last day of the Festival will have as its main attraction Teresa Salgueiro and Sara Correia closing the Santa Casa Stage and of course, the return of Raquel Tavares to the Portuguese stages, even if it is just a small aperitif “Em Casa d`Amália” on the Ermelinda Stage Freitas, but many other concerts will take place in Alfama, Miguel Moura, Luís Capão, Artur Batalha, Beatriz Felizardo, among many others. Another attraction is the Alfama March which will parade through the neighborhood.
Marcha da Santa Casa – 525 years of making a difference in people’s lives
The second day of the Festival, Saturday the 30th, is marked by an already emblematic moment of Santa Casa Alfama, the Marcha da Santa Casa parade through the streets of Alfama.
In the year in which Santa Casa celebrates 525 years, the SCML 2023 March had 56 participants, 9 employees, 2 volunteers, 42 users and 3 mascots. The SCML march is a march of meetings and solidarity between neighbourhoods, represented by marchers (users and collaborators) from all areas of the city, and which represents Lisbon as a whole. The SCML March is an intergenerational activity, as a form of strategy towards demystifying preconceived ideas and prejudices regarding old age, thus supporting the construction of a culture that dignifies older people, reinforcing the perspective of positive ageing. The exhibitions are preceded by three months of a fun and laborious creative process that enhances the appreciation of well-being and self-esteem and the stimulation of various skills. Celebrating the city through its traditions and identity is a true honour for all marchers and for Santa Casa. Under the motto of making a difference to those who seek it, Santa Casa has one of the highlights of the year in its March. To follow and march through the streets of Alfama, on Saturday the 30th, from 6pm, leaving near the Centro Cultural Dr. Magalhães Lima.

Please note that the capacity of each room is limited, so we recommend that you arrive early to the concerts you want to see, to guarantee your place.
