WOW’s São João will return
tickets are now on sale
As with last year’s edition, the idea is to guarantee the necessary conditions for a genuine and traditional São João, without giving up comfort and convenience. Thus, the festival includes live music, all-you-can-eat food and drink throughout the night and, of course, the best view of the fireworks in the city.
Spring is shy and Summer seems far away, but at WOW the spirit of popular festivals is already in the air. Ticket sales for the São João festival have already started. The first batch was practically sold out by WOW Card members, who had access to advance purchase, and the second batch is now available to the general public for €55. For this price, guests will have the right to enjoy all of WOW’s public areas, dance to the sounds of bands and DJs and eat and drink without limits.
In true festival style, roast sardines, pork belly and pork belly dripping on bread will be served. There will also be caldo verde, ham sandwiches, steaks, “pregos” and pizzas, as well as some sweets and coffee. All this, washed down with beer, wine, soft drinks and water, from 8 pm until 4 am.
For some dancing, there is live music that continues until 4 am, including popular music and DJs. There are several places spread across WOW where entertainment is guaranteed, guaranteeing space for everyone well beyond the central square.
To make it possible to bring friends and family together for a real party night, two special discounts were created: groups of more than 10 people (tickets purchased together) have a 10% discount and children aged 5 to 12 pay half the price.
More intimate celebrations in four restaurants
It is worth noting that the ticket for the festival does not guarantee a reserved seat, so revellers will have to get their food and sit wherever there is space – with plenty of space available. For those who prefer a São João in a more reserved environment, there are four WOW restaurants where you can reserve a table: Angel’s Share, 1828, Barão Fladgate and Mira Mira by Chef Ricardo Costa. Although the menu is different in each of them, there is one factor that unites all the restaurants: the perfect view to enjoy the fireworks at midnight.
