O Sol da Caparica “shines” again

The Sol da Caparica Festival is back, with new “management” but some of the same vices, many stars for four days of music in Portuguese or made by artists who share the Portuguese-speaking space, a “world” of creativity and quality each time bigger, artists who give everything on stage so that fans and audiences have a fantastic night.

The first day featured Rich & Mendes, Chico da Tina, Calema, L7nnon and Karetus on the main stage, Palco Sagres, a renovated stage with transparent side screens, which allowed you to hear the artist but also see the stunning “sunset” on the Costa horizon from Caparica.

Editor’s note

The O Sol da Caparica Festival has had a new producer, for three years, after the previous producer had two out of three less successful editions, recalls from the public, artists and press, but a last edition in 2023, with nothing significant to point out It was hoped that the new “management” would have learned from the mistakes made, unfortunately the first day did not demonstrate this, there were several problems that arose during the day/night yesterday, let’s hope they are just that, first day problems.
