About the Dão CVR:
The Dão Regional Wine Commission (CVR) is the entity that represents the interests of the economic agents involved in the production and marketing of wines (or other wine products) that have the Dão Controlled Designation of Origin (DOC). This organisation is responsible for guaranteeing their authenticity and quality, which is why it subjects them to rigorous coordination and control. These activities cover the entire wine production and marketing circuit, with the exclusive presence of the Agency’s Technical Verification Agents in all operations.
At the same time, the Dão CVR has the function of certifying and authenticating wines, through the awarding of Guarantee Seals, and is responsible for their promotion.
