The South of France has arrived on Avenida da Liberdade
From the same owners of Cuá Cuá, Bliss, Torremar, and Burguesinha comes Arc, which promises a sophisticated gastronomic experience with strong Mediterranean inspiration and influences from the cuisine of the south of France.
The proposal is clear: to offer a place where quality gastronomy meets fun and an elegant and festive atmosphere, attracting those who value good food in good company for an exquisite lunch or dinner to the sound of good music in the heart of the city.
The inspiration for the decor came from a trip to the south of France, bringing the spirit of St. Tropez and the Côte D’Azur to ARC with a fusion of Mediterranean flavours.
The space has a capacity for 76 people, which means reservations are mandatory.
Under the culinary direction of Chef Luís Campos, who trained at Le Cordon Bleu in London, and with an international career that has led him to work in some of the best kitchens in the world, ARC’s menu sublimely blends tradition and innovation.
For Chef Luís Campos “Cooking is a form of expression and each of our dishes is a story to be lived”.
Among the menu’s stars are the seared scallops (with cauliflower couscous, apricots and hibiscus foam), the duck cuacua and the world of chocolate – a selection of irresistible options for lovers, from chocolate panna cotta, chocolate farofa, salted caramel parfait, chocolate tile to Belgian chocolate ice cream and passion fruit gel, all washed down with hot chocolate.
More than a restaurant, ARC is a meeting place, perfect for a business lunch, a romantic dinner or a lively night out.
A space for moments of celebration to the sound of music by DJ Driss, a multifaceted artist who presents sets that mix house music, disco and the 80s. Perfect for dinner and dancing until 2 am.
With a successful portfolio that includes Cuá Cuá, Bliss, Torremar Oeiras and burguesinha, this group now brings ARC to Avenida da Liberdade, creating a space that reflects its passion for haute cuisine and creating memorable experiences.
“We have a recognized and differentiated track record in the establishments we open. We like to make dreams come true, to make our clients feel like they are travelling the world without leaving the same space,” said Hugo Tabaco.
The day that marked the official opening saw several familiar faces who were able to enjoy the menu created especially for the occasion by chef Luís Campos, consisting of seared scallops with cauliflower couscous and hibiscus foam, veal Gyosas with teriyaki sauce and small
For João Magalhães, the location and size of the space were decisive in choosing Arc. “We didn’t want to open a pasta restaurant, but rather a welcoming and pleasant space for a very specific type of customer, the customer who likes to dine well and dance without any fuss.”

It was a night of celebration, with beautiful people an excellent menu and the sound of good music by DJ Driss.
