In September 2020, Óbidos will be home to the European golf challenge, Open de Portugal.
The 58th edition of the Open de Portugal, a test for the European golf challenge circuit, will take place from 17 to 20 September 2020 at the Royal Óbidos course.
This competition, which in recent years has been played at the Morgado Golf Course in Portimão, is expected to bring together 144 players and hand out cash prizes of 200,000 euros.
The 2019 edition took place between 12 and 15 September, in Portimão, and was won by Polish Adrian Meronk.
Royal Óbidos Golf Course (par 72) was designed by former Spanish golfer Severiano Ballesteros.
