Oeiras Parque celebrates Mother’s Day with the presentation of the children’s book

On May 4th, at 3:30 pm, Oeiras Parque will host a special event to celebrate Mother’s Day: the presentation of the children’s book “Aqui Tem Gato…e boas histórias também!”, published by Livros Horizonte.

Created by Sofia Vieira, founder of Livraria Aqui Há Gato, and illustrator Paulo Galindro, known for his work on “O Cuquedo”, this book is an invitation to the imagination and the pleasure of reading as a family.

Despite being dedicated to children, this book transports readers of all ages to a world where books hold secrets and each page can reveal a surprise. Through an engaging plot and illustrations created analogically with paintings on wooden canvases, the book celebrates the power of stories and the bonds that are created by sharing them.

The event, which will take place next to the Oeiras Parque Children’s Park (1st floor), will feature an interactive reading by the author and a live illustration by Paulo Galindro, which will be raffled off to one of the spectators at the end.

The book is available for sale in all bookstores and hypermarkets in the country and can be purchased on the day of the event at the FNAC in Oeiras Parque.

“Reading is a world of possibilities where each story becomes an unforgettable journey. We want this book to be an invitation for parents and children to create memories and share emotions through the love of reading,” says Sofia Vieira.

Paulo Galindro adds: “I brought the story that Sofia created to life through manual work, the texture of the wood and the paints that come to life on each page. Our goal is to convey to those who read it the same authenticity and inspiration that guided us throughout this process.”
