Official: Gelson reinforces Monaco
Atlético de Madrid lends the Portuguese international until the end of the season.
Monaco announced, in the form of a statement, have reached an agreement with Atletico Madrid for the transfer of Gelson Martins.
The Portuguese international will act as a loan under the orders of Leonardo Jardim – who returned to the principality to the place of Thierry Henry – until the end of this season.
In his first declarations as reinforcement Monaco team, the ex-Sporting forward was “very happy” by the new step in the race.
“I can not wait to get back on the pitch with my new team-mates and do my best to help,” said the 23-year-old.
