Rua da Alegria, in Lisbon, gained a new spot: the pizzeria and restaurant of contemporary cuisine “Oh! Sorte” that highlights the best Portuguese ingredients with a sophisticated and original touch.
[dropcap]I[/dropcap]n this space, Chefs duo Ana Clara Corvino and José Scotini propose a menu that includes thin and crunchy pizzas; Lemon risottos and sautéed shrimp or mushrooms and porcini Funghi; Tagliatelle pasta from Ragu a Bolognese and Tortelloni from curd and sage; and still other special options like Lombo de Novilho, Bacalhau and Salads. Based on the best national fresh products, surprising dishes are born. “Oh! Sorte” pizza with roasted “alheira” and Portugal pizza with sardines are just a few examples that promise to delight the most demanding palates.
The Restaurant has trendy and comfortable decor, with furniture full of stories, a patio with a glass roof from which the famous Lisbon light bursts, and the Oliveira Bar – with a centenary olive tree in the centre – serving cocktails and craft beers.
“Oh! Sorte” opened doors by the hands of four young entrepreneurs, with over 20 years of experience in the restaurant and hotel industry. They bring to Lisbon a modern gastronomic concept that combines the best local flavours with an elaborate, conscious and environmentally friendly cuisine.
“Oh! Sorte” works every day (except Monday), from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm and from 6:30 pm to 11:00 pm, and is located at Rua da Alegria, n. 20, in Lisbon. The restaurant guarantees all safety and hygiene measures, both for customers and employees, attested by the “Clean & Safe” seal of Turismo de Portugal.
