David Fonseca, a Portuguese singer, songwriter, musician, and photographer, is a central figure in Portuguese music. Known for his work with the band Silence 4, but also for his successful solo career, which continues to delight Portuguese audiences.

David Fonseca gained national and international recognition as the lead singer and main songwriter of Silence 4. The band, formed in 1995, achieved resounding success with their debut album, Silence Becomes It (1998), which became one of the best-selling albums of all time in Portugal.
