OPPO launches ColorOS 12 based on Android 12

OPPO, the world’s leading technology brand, has announced its latest operating system, ColorOS 12 (global version) based on Android 12, making OPPO one of the first brands to launch Android 12, which will initially be available on OPPO Find X3 Pro 5G in Indonesia and Malaysia.

As a pilot version of ColorOS 12, this edition gives you a glimpse into how ColorOS looks and feels. OPPO will reveal all the details of ColorOS 12 (global version) in an Online Event on October 11th at 10:00 am GMT+1. During this event, the inclusive and customizable design, advanced features, high performance and upgrade plan of ColorOS 12 will be announced.

To reach as many users as possible, OPPO aims to cover more than 110 devices and 150 million users worldwide, making it the fastest and most comprehensive ColorOS update in OPPO’s history.

For the first time, OPPO is also announcing an important update policy. Specifically, for OPPO devices that were released from 2019 onwards, the company will secure three major Android updates for the high-end Find X series[1] devices, two Android updates for the Reno/F/K series and an Android update on some of the A-series models[2]. Along with four years of regular security patch updates for the Find X/Reno/ F/K series, and three years for the A-series.
