National and international speakers in debate on the (r)evolution of work
Future.Works Lisbon 22, an initiative promoted by Landing.Jobs and imatch, which will take place on the 7th and 8th of October at the Lisbon Congress Center, has just revealed the first national and international speakers who will take the stage to debate the future of work.
The event, hitherto known as Future.Works Tech Conference and considered the biggest conference for tech talent in Portugal, broadens its ambition and returns this year as Future.Works Lisbon 22 with a new mission: to be the international event of reference in the challenge and design of the future of work. This edition will feature more than 100 sessions, more than 150 speakers, and dozens of hours of content, which will range from conferences to workshops, talks, debates, and pitches, among others.
Among the confirmed names are Josh Klein, Chief Executive Officer at Indigometrics, an American futurist living in Iceland and collaborating with different governments on the topic of the future of work, which will open the stage for reflection on this topic; Dalia Turner, VP Human Resources at Feedzai and an organizational culture advocate with experience in Asia, the US and currently Europe, who will talk about how flexibility is the new watchword in team building; as well as Roberto Cortez, Java Champion who founded JNation, a conference “made in Portugal” on Java that is an international reference.
Cassiano Surek, Chief Technology Officer passionate about complex application architectures, DAOS, NFTs, Blockchain technology, and Web3.0, who will talk about NFTs and their impact on the future; Catarina Holstein, who turned an experience around the world into a model of personal development that she called “Master in Life Adventures”; and Mariana Trigo, a biologist who, after a journey of personal discovery, founded Tekya, a project that helps people start a career in technology from scratch, are other speakers who have already confirmed their presence at this event that will take place in hybrid, from the Lisbon Congress Center.
Diogo Oliveira, Chief Executive Officer of Landing.Jobs, says that “in order to achieve our objective of being the international event of reference in the challenge and design of the future of work, we needed the know-how of the right speakers. It is with great enthusiasm that we reveal some of the personalities, national and international, who will be with us to debate these themes, and we will have the opportunity to hear truly enriching experiences, and in the first person, about how this (r)evolution is impacting the world, from the paradigm shift and how Portugal can take advantage of it, to the globalization of technological work, the role of technology, among other topics”.
The speakers confirmed so far will be present on the different stages of the event, Future.Works, Tech.Works and Talent.Works.
