They are one of the most beloved bands in the city and it is in Porto that they celebrate three decades of music. On September 30, Ornatos Violeta takes to the stage of the Norte Music Festival to celebrate 30 years of existence. Linda Martini, The Script, GNR, OneRepublic and Pedro da Linha will also perform at Alfândega do Porto, until October 2nd.
Two years after the flood that provoked in the Super Bock Arena/Pavilhão Rosa Mota, the band of Manel Cruz, Nuno Prata, Peixe, Kinörm and Elísio Donas brings the songs that accompany several generations, in an unparalleled success that was achieved with just three albums.
On the same day, the festival presents other concerts in Portuguese with the return to the stage of the also Porto natives ZEN, the new songs of Linda Martini, or PAUS. This Friday, you will also hear the sound of the trio Paraguaii, which includes musicians Giliano Boucinha, Zé Pedro Caldas and Rolando Ferreira, and Pedro da Linha, who distinguished himself by applying his aesthetics in productions for artists such as Dino D’Santiago, Carlão or Diogo Piçarra.
Between Saturday and Sunday, the North Music Festival receives the confirmed presences of The Script, OneRepublic, The Waterboys and GNR. The event is also made up of boat trips on the River Douro and a Sunset stage also with DJ, jam sessions, wine gardens and catering areas.
The daily ticket has a value of 50 euros and the general pass will have a limited pre-sale value of 90 euros, both being available for sale in the usual places, as well as on the event’s website.
