Azeitonas present the new single “20 Anos”
The band of Marlon, Nena and Salsa is celebrating 20 years of career and to mark this celebration they are releasing the single and video “20 Anos”.
According to Azeitonas, “20 years… Twenty years since the release of our first full-length album (Um Tanto Ou Quanto Atarantado)! To celebrate this boldness, we decided to write this song that reflects on our journey throughout this very busy period and, taking advantage of the energy generated by the passing of the years, to focus on the next phase of compositions!
We look back and see ourselves still young, now proud of the journey, always grateful for giving us the privilege of doing it together! Once again, thank you for your work! We are yours!”
The culmination of this 20th anniversary will take place on October 2nd, with a concert at the Coliseu do Porto. For approximately 2 hours, Marlon, Nena and Salsa will go through their already vast songbook with hits such as – “Quem és Tu Miúda”, “Tonto de ti”, “Ray Dee Oh”, “Guitarrista do Liceu”, “Anda Comigo ver os Aviões”, among many others, also revisiting some songs that have not been part of the lineup for a long time or that have never been part of it at all. On stage there will also be a series of guests who, in one way or another, were part of this beautiful journey that began in 2005.
