Clã bid farewell to the year that marked the 30th anniversary of the band’s career, with a large open-air New Year’s concert in Ponta Delgada, Azores, on the 31st of December.
A closing of celebrations with a golden key, in a year that began with the attribution of the SPA prize to the Clã for the song TUDO NO AMOR (after the distinction with the PLAY prize for Best Group, the previous year).
Two years after the publication of the last original album VÉSPERA, the band continued to tour the country from North to South, between sold-out auditoriums, summer concerts, festivals, the surprising tour of DÁ O QUE TEM clubs and a memorable concert in the first edition of the festival Rock à Moda do Porto.
At the end of the year, precisely in the month of the band’s anniversary, the first part of the documentary NA SOMBRA premiered at the Porto/Post/Doc film festival. The film, divided into two chapters, is directed by Joana X and follows, like a diary, the process of creating and launching VÉSPERA. The premiere of the second chapter is scheduled for spring this year.
The band continues to tour in 2023, with the first concert in the year’s first month, on January 28th, at ACERT in Tondela.
