At a time when bands and artists that we thought we would never see again appear again, the return of Excesso was perhaps what caused the greatest curiosity, could it be that they still had the same magic on stage? Would the public join them?, the first concert at Altice responded to all that, a magical night with the public filling the Lisbon hall and vibrating from beginning to end with “Excess”.
The “men’s” band of Carlos, Duck, Gonzo, João Portugal, and Melão, were received by an Altice Arena sold out of fans eager to see them again on stage, with the timer still counting down and the name of the band could already be heard shouting around the four corners of the room.

After a long period without performing together, and a separation that did not give them the opportunity to say goodbye to the public, Excesso finally returned to the stage for a final farewell, or who knows, a return with new songs.

A very well thought-out concert, with an excellent set of lights and an X-shaped stage measuring over 25 meters, allowed the band to be closer to the audience, to which was added an island-shaped stage that was used in the encore, a giant screen that allowed the passage of images from the concert and moments that marked the band and its elements, everything so that this night of return, of the first Portuguese boyband, was even more magical.

Carlos, Duck, Gonzo, João Portugal, and Melão showed that they are still ready for the concert, despite their age not being the same as when they took the stage the first time, but they were ready to dance, sing and move, especially the many fans of the female gender that filled the Lisbon room, and not even the 14 dancers that accompanied them in various themes, made them stop.

Between screams, applause, dancing, and even several tears, the audience could not contain the emotion when listening and remembering each song, which they knew by heart. It was an emotional journey through all the band’s successes with sharing of exclusive images of the group and the family context of each one.
Among the many successes that the public can hear, such as “Eu Sou Quem”, “Até ao Fim” or “Não Sei Viver sem Ti”, they still had a surprise, a new theme, “Na Pressa de Ser Mais”, in one of the moments most exciting of the night.

The band said goodbye in a celebratory way on the island stage in the company of their family, children, and nephews, to the sound of their great hit “Eu Sou Aquele”, but on June 17th, they will go back on stage, this time at the Super Bock Arena – Pavilhão Rosa Mota, in Porto, if you can, don’t miss it, there are still tickets for a new magical night in the company of Excesso.
