Ganso Takes Flight and Lands at the Coliseu dos Recreios
March 6, 2026
Celebrating the band’s 10th anniversary and hits like “Sorte a minha” and “Fetiche fonético.” In 2026, Ganso celebrates its 10th anniversary. To mark this milestone and the many hits of its career, the band takes flight and confirms its first date at one of the most iconic venues in Brazil: the Coliseu dos Recreios, in Lisbon.
After presenting and selling out their latest album, Vice Versa, and performing at summer festivals across the country, Ganso faces a new challenge: the band’s first Coliseu performance on March 6, 2026.

A decade of Ganso, João Sala, the band’s vocalist and lyricist, reflects on this symbolic date: “Besides our passion for making music, our audience is a powerful force that drives us to celebrate these 10 years as a band. Throughout this decade, we’ve always felt the desire to be heard, and that motivates us greatly. We have three albums and an EP that are very different from each other, and there’s still plenty of room to continue experimenting with other sounds.”
Ganso’s arrival at one of the country’s most iconic venues is no coincidence; it follows the release of Vice Versa, an album that has become quite popular among younger fans of Portuguese music, a growing audience with each new release. In addition to the Portuguese TikTok hits “Sorte a Minha” (nearly 4 million streams) and “Fetiche Fonético,” the new album has already surpassed one and a half million streams on Spotify.

Vice Versa has taken on a life of its own in the ears and sensibilities of its listeners since its release. It sold out three nights at B.Leza in Lisbon in late 2024 and recently filled the Lisbon Museum Gardens to headline the second night of the Cuca Monga Festival. The album was featured in the national press and played on several major Portuguese radio stations, appearing on some of the year’s most renowned lists: Antena 3 named “Papel de Jornal” the fourth best national song of 2024, the album appeared on the Best Albums of the Year list (#7) on the same radio station, and ranked eighth on the Top of the Best Portuguese Albums of 2024 for BLITZ readers.
But the Coliseu dos Recreios show on March 6th promises to showcase Ganso’s latest album, revisiting hits from other releases like “Sorte a Minha,” “Gino (O Menino Bolha),” and “Não Te Aborreças,” from the band’s debut album, “Não Tarda” (2019), which will also be part of the lineup for this unique show.

Special guests, surprises, and more details about this unprecedented performance in Ganso’s career will be announced by March 2026. Until then, expect the release of new music that the quintet from Lisbon has been simmering since the creation of Vice Versa.
