After releasing their debut single “Luz”, the Portuguese supergroup Rua Nova, formed by Olavo Bilac, Nuno Guerreiro, Tozé Santos and Vítor Silva, is now releasing a reinterpretation of the classic “Amor”, by their colleagues Heróis do Mar.
To accompany the launch, the group recorded a music video in the picturesque streets of Porto, creating a visual narrative that celebrates love, directed by Sílvio Moreira.
Remembering that the debut single, “Luz”, released in October 2024, was an original song in homage to Cape Verdean singer Sara Tavares, a reference in Portuguese-speaking music. The song stood out for its emotionality and touching message, marking the group’s introduction to the public and gaining space on radio and digital platforms.
Rua Nova brings together some of the most iconic names in Portuguese music, who promise to continue surprising and exciting with this new chapter of their career.
