The Divine Comedy will perform in Portugal on March 8 and 9, 2026. The shows are scheduled for Aula Magna (Lisbon) and Casa da Música (Porto), respectively, and will be part of the tour for their 13th album, “Rainy Sunday Afternoon”.
Recorded at Abbey Road Studios, the new album was composed, produced and arranged by Neil Hannon, best known as the composer and driving force behind The Divine Comedy.
The album exquisitely encompasses the band’s vocalist’s vast range of emotions: sadness, joy, anger and everything in between. One listen to Rainy Sunday Afternoon will certainly be a tonic for these turbulent times. One listen to the album twice and the addiction is set in.
