Over 100 films will be shown for free at the We Are One festival on Youtube

The festival will end on June 7.

According to the schedule announced today, among the selected films are, for example, the collective film ‘The bridges of Sarajevo’, which includes the participation of director Teresa Villaverde, the Cape Verdean documentary ‘Kmêdeus’, by Nuno Miranda, and the short film ‘Occidente’, by Brazilian author Ana Vaz.

The festival’s program was coordinated by the Tribeca festival in partnership with 21 film festivals from around the world, including Cannes, Annecy, Sundance, Rotterdam, Venice, Locarno, Karlovy Vary, San Sebastian, Macau and Tokyo.

The festival takes place in a context of the pandemic of the covid-19, which globally affected the activity of the film industry, in production, distribution, the business market and exhibition, with the closure of all cinemas and postponement of various festivals.

Although the festival is freely accessible, the organization calls on viewers to make donations to several international organizations that have dealt with the covid-19 pandemic, namely the World Health Organization and Doctors Without Borders.
