The Portuguese Bioindustry Association (P-BIO) presents the strategic plan Portugal Bio-Saúde 2030, in an event with the participation of Manuel Heitor and António Costa Silva.
The session will be broadcast online on P-BIO’s Youtube and Facebook, on December 11, 2020 at 11 am. The SARS-CoV-2 pandemic has changed the way we view the role of science and knowledge in society, particularly in the area of Life Sciences.
It was this reflection that led P-BIO to develop the Bio-Health Strategy 2030, which will now be presented publicly. The objective is to make room for discussion with legislators, policy makers and all interested parties.
The session intends to promote the debate on the creation of a cluster of Life Sciences and Biotechnology as an engine of social and economic development and to contribute to the sustainable technological competitive differentiation of our country in the long term.
Through sustained and transversal investment, Portugal Bio-Saúde 2030 intends to position Portugal as a center for Research and Development in Biotechnology and Life Sciences and a strategic pillar of production capacity in the European Union (EU), making our country the Europe Factory for Health.
