Palmela is associated with the celebrations of World Tourism Day (September 27) with a symbolic offer, which will be available on that day for those who visit the Tourism Office and Mother House of the Wine Route and also at the receptions of the hotel units of the county.
Since September 27, 1980, this date, which was established by the third conference of the General Assembly of the WTO, has been celebrated by the OMT – World Tourism Organization. In 2021, the celebrations have the theme “Tourism for inclusive growth”.
The Municipality of Palmela, together with its partners and local agents, has increased new tourist offers and dynamics, with a view to local economic development, job creation and territorial enhancement.
