Panamera has a new hybrid model
With the Panamera Turbo S of 463 kW (630 hp), the sports model brand assures its aspirations to offer the best performance in the segment.
The new top-of-the-range exceeds, by a wide margin, the performance figures announced by the previous Panamera Turbo. But Porsche also maintains its commitment to the E-Performance strategy.
In this sense, the Panamera 4S E-Hybrid is a new addition to the range of plug-in hybrid models, offering an entirely new powertrain with a total power of 412 kW (560 hp).
If compared with previous hybrid models, the autonomy in the fully electric mode has been increased up to 30%. Comfort and dynamics have also benefited from improvements in chassis components and control systems that combine with a new generation of steering and tires.
Developed in Weissach and built in Zuffenhausen, the 4.0 V8 biturbo engine has been completely renovated to allow the Panamera to reach a maximum speed of 315 km/h.
In order to be able to transmit such power to the road in a controlled way and maximizing the speed of passing in a curve and dynamism, the three-chamber air suspension, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), the active body movement control system, Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control Sport (PDCC Sport), which includes the Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus), has been customized for each specific model and optimized accordingly.
The new Porsche Panamera is now available for order and will be available at the brand’s dealers in mid-October.
In Portugal, prices (including taxes in effect at the date of this release) start at 120,930.00 euros for the rear-wheel drive Panamera model.
All other models include all-wheel drive and prices start at 125,973.00 euros for Panamera 4, 138,589.00 euros for Panamera 4S E-Hybrid, 189,531.00 euros for GTS and 238,569.00 euros for top-of-the-range Panamera Turbo S.
