Chocolate Easter from April 6th to 10th on WOW
Chocolate egg exhibitions, egg hunts in museums, chocolate workshops, show cooking sessions with Tia Cátia and Marco Costa, musical entertainment, and a chocolate market, are some of the WOW proposals for the big weekend of Easter. From the 6th to the 10th of April, the cultural quarter is (re)dressed in chocolate.
WOW is counting down to Easter. From the 6th to the 10th of April, this food from the gods will overflow from the Chocolate Museum and invade the entire block.
For five days, Chocolate Easter is the ideal pretext for a visit to WOW. The opening moment will take place on the 6th, at 6.30 pm, with a concert in the central square, in charge of the Musical Society 1º de Agosto – Banda de Música de Coimbrões. Also in the central square, there will be a giant Easter Egg, 3.5 m high, begging for many photographs.
In addition, visitors can see the chocolate market and the chocolate eggs exhibition for free every day. There is also musical entertainment every afternoon, with the exception of the 9th, Easter Sunday. The Easter Bunny will also walk around WOW and promises to distribute hugs… and chocolate, of course!
At the WOW Museums, there will be egg hunts, games, and pairings. Prices remain the usual. Anyone who buys tickets to museums during Chocolate Easter also gets free entry to the show cooking and workshops for children’s paintings and handicrafts.
Tia Cátia and Marco Costa will share chocolate recipes
Next to the square, in the WOW Gallery, with space for many fans, Marco Costa returns to WOW to make another one of his famous recipes. Marco’s show cooking takes place on the 8th of April, starting at 3:30 pm.
Cátia Goarmon, also known as Tia Cátia, usually presents her recipes on the television channel 24 Kitchen. On April 7th, at 2:30 pm, she will be live on WOW to cook and taste crispy salami eggs and chocolate, figs, and almond brownie.
With the purchase of any WOW museum ticket, entry to the show cooking is completely free.
“Chocolatinhos” Workshops at Lemon Plaza
This was the great success of last year’s edition and it’s back, in an extended format. For the little ones to get their hands (and mouths) in the dough, the “Chocolatinhos” workshop will take place at Lemon Plaza, from April 6th to 10th, at 11 am, 2 pm, 3.30 pm, and 5 pm. The price is €20 per child and entitles you to participate in the workshop, plus a ticket to the Chocolate Museum or brunch at VP.
Always confirm with the concert hall or promoter the conditions of access, confirmation of the date or time, tickets place of sale, price, and availability.
