Easter at WOW is five days of entertainment for the whole family

Over the Easter long weekend, WOW is preparing five days of celebration for the whole family. There are sweets, children’s entertainment, themed workshops and chocolate.

A brunch will be served throughout the day, from Friday to Sunday, and special dishes will be served in each of the restaurants in the cultural quarter on Easter Day.

From March 28th to April 1st, all Easter roads lead to WOW. The cultural quarter is preparing a program full of activities, with perfect offers to do with the family, with lots of games, workshops and, of course, gastronomy.

The program includes an Easter egg exhibition at the Suspiro café and a children’s entertainment area at Lemon Plaza, with a face painting studio, inflatable and trampoline. In the same area, some sources of doom will be available, which is what they say: a little market with crepes, popcorn, cotton candy, truffles, brigadeiros and churros.

From Friday to Monday, children can also get their hands dirty and take part in a Chocolatinhos workshop, creating Easter Egg Cake Pops. The ticket for this action, which will take place in the Street Market area, costs €20. For €22, it also guarantees access to the Chocolate Museum, where the little ones can learn everything about this delicacy.

At the Chocolate Museum, visits will be (even) more themed. From March 28th to April 1st, there is a Chocolate Hunt: with the map in hand, visitors will have to find the clues and complete the challenges leading them to the chocolate.

Brunch at VP

WOW’s various restaurants are also preparing for this special season. The VP will be serving a Brunch from March 29th to 31st, from 10:30 am to 6:00 pm.

For €18, customers can enjoy croissants, pumpkin and butter jam, and poached eggs served on Alentejo bread, with bacon, chives, hollandaise sauce and pea shoots. There are also red fruit pancakes, with raspberry jam, strawberry, blueberry, whipped cream, toasted almonds and chocolate sauce.

The price does not include drinks. Children pay half the price. For those who wish to enjoy the brunch and combine it with a trip to one of the museums, it is possible to purchase a combined ticket.

Special dishes in restaurants

There are even more reasons for food lovers to visit WOW this weekend. On Easter Sunday itself, March 31st, T&C will be serving Bairrada-style roast suckling pig, while Golden Catch offers “blessed” cod. At PIP, the special dish features veal slowly roasted in the oven. At Barão Fladgate, there is lamb roasted at a low temperature. As usual, booking is advisable and can be done online.

Pairing workshop at The Wine School

On March 30th, The Wine School will have a course specifically created for Easter. It is a workshop to simplify pairing, through the tasting of five wines and five Vinte Vinte chocolates. Participants will learn about the basic principles of this perfect combination, in a two-hour session, taking place in the afternoon.

Always confirm with the concert hall or promoter the conditions of access, confirmation of the date or time, ticket place of sale, price, and availability.
