In the year celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Carnation Revolution, Paulo de Carvalho premieres the show “E Depois do Adeus???” in December.
The performances are scheduled for the 28th at Casa da Música, in Porto, and the 29th at the Centro Cultural de Belém, in Lisbon.
With a big band formation, the name of these concerts is not unrelated to the first password of 25 de Abril and will cover its entire remarkable journey from the beginnings to the most recent album 2020, released in February. In an intergenerational show, Paulo de Carvalho sets the tone for the tour that, in 2025, will mark his retirement from the stage.
The question marks reflect doubt at a time when political and social debate is once again so present in Portuguese daily life. However, there is certainty about the legacy left by one of the most excellent songwriters in our history.
